Synopsis

A small riverside town faces submersion from a water conservancy project just as a heavy storm in 2002 brings forth a bizarre murder case, where a dead lover and a vanished husband both appear to be victim and culprit. As police unravel the mystery, long-buried secrets and the shadows of human nature are brought to light.
